Ask your MP to end long A&E waits and Corridor Care

Too many seriously ill older people are waiting for hours, even days, in A&E. At worst, they’re being placed in hospital corridors, or even cupboards turned into makeshift rooms. There, they face treatment, tests, and life-changing news without privacy, and in unsafe conditions. This so-called “Corridor Care” isn’t care at all – it’s a crisis.

The Government says it’s wrong, but it’s not acting fast enough.

We know it can be fixed as not every hospital is affected. That’s why we're holding an event in Parliament in January to inform MPs how to end the crisis in A&Es nationally and locally.

Please invite your MP to come to Age UK's event to discuss ending long A&E waits and Corridor Care in your area.

When you submit your details, you’ll be taken to another page with some questions to answer about your experiences in hospitals that will go in the email to your MP. The more personal the email, the more likely your MP is to act.
