Fix social care and save the NHS £500 per minute

Tell your MP why you care about care

Delayed discharges from hospital due to a lack of social care cost our NHS an eye-watering £500 every minute. Social care makes sure that when returning from hospital older people can get dressed, use the toilet or make a meal.

This message needs to be loud and clear – we made Penny the Piggy Bank to show politicians that we could save money and get people the care they need. She will be visiting many areas, possibly some near you, so look out for her on Twitter #CareCrisis and on our website.
